My Venture Into The World Of Internet Marketing:
It was during a period of sick leave from my last attempt at part time work that my sister and I noticed a direct mail ad to attend an internet marketing conference. My sister and I were intrigued by the thought of earning a viable income from home and, it came with a free lunch so what the heck, we signed up to attend.
If that dropshipper is also willing to handle customer service and refunds then the only work that one needs to do to operate a business online is the marketing or promoting of the items to be sold. I figured that was something that I could do with a minimal amount of stress on my fatigue levels. I wanted to learn more!
With the opportunity to open a store where the products magically moved themselves from point A to point B presenting itself to me, I just knew, I had to check the world of internet sales out. The more that I investigated; the more excited I became.
The virtual concept known as drop shipping where a manufacturer or wholesaler agrees to ship a product on your behalf to the final purchaser of that product really caught my interest. This would eliminate a lot of the energy involved in operating a store front. The only stresses I would have to worry about would be the stress on my fingers joints, pocketbook and nerves. Costs of doing business on the internet are extremely low compared with the operating costs of a real world business so I felt that issue would not be a problem.
I could hardly wait to get an online storefront up and running. I have always loved antiques and for years have been a collector of almost any that I could discover at flea markets or garage sales. The thought of having my own store and being able to deal in nostalgia items was very exciting to me. I had pretty much thought that the fatigue issues involved with my illness had closed the doors to my ever playing in the retail world again. So I was thrilled to once again have the chance to enter the world of sales and could hardly wait to start filling the shelves in my new store.
That first big life altering step set me onto a pathway that I could not have imagined. If it were not for the freedom that the internet allows me, I would not have the opportunities or, choices that I now have.
While creating linkage into the stores I began blogging and writing online. I had forgotten exactly how much I enjoyed working within the written word and so my online lifestyle took on a new direction. I was suddenly a writer and I was making money from it.
No matter which direction your business endeavors take you keep in mind that when opening an Online business you will have to work diligently at it if you want to be a success. It also takes longer to set up your Online persona than it would a business that you open in your local community. So be patient, and allow three to five years for your business to start earning you a decent amount of money, keep in mind that things move slower on the Internet.
Money on the Internet often comes in a little at a time from a number of sources, but when those earnings all add up, they can be a very substantial pile of pennies. Keep investigating and branch out in as many venues as you are comfortably able to. Remember to watch out for bad apples on the Internet because there are quite a few. Always read the fine print on any contracts that you are going to sign, and if they don't look right, walk away. Good luck out there!

Sometimes I feel almost normal. Sometimes I think that I can do almost anything. Till the illness flare up hits me once again and I am sent whining off to bed for a day or two, a week or two, or a month or two. The length of time for healing depending on the severity of each current flare. I've learned that the only way to get well is to give in, stop everything and rest till the illness lets me live again.
This unfortunately makes living a normal life very difficult. Most aspects of life don't like being put on hold indefinitely and with each flare up I found myself losing more and more of the life that I had strived so hard to create. After each flare I would begin my life anew and I would try harder to find something that I felt I could do that my illness could not take away from me. But my illness always got the better of me, that is until, the internet opened doors that I wasn't able to.
